Hi. I’m Dylan, and I run the software team who look after Spotlight’s databases and websites. We’ve set up this dedicated blog to give you a bit more insight into what’s happening behind the scenes here at Spotlight. We’ll let you know about problems we’re aware of, and share our plans for fixing them; we’ll talk about new products and services, and we’d love to know what you think – what works well for you, where you think we can improve things, and ideas or suggestions for things you’d like to see added to the site.
I know some of you are frustrated because whenever you ask for an update on something that’s causing you problems, all you hear is “we’re working on it”. I’m hoping that this blog will give you a much better idea of what’s causing the problems you’re experiencing, what exactly we’re doing to address them, and how soon you can expect to see changes and improvements to the main site.
